The Cataracts increased their first place lead in the central west league and now have 19 points on the season as they swept the Royals this weekend with a 4-2 win Sunday. Michael Brent, Michael Cole, Brandon Bussy and Andrew Brennan shared in the scoring for the Cats. Jordan Kennedy and Dave MacDonald replied for the Royals.

The Clarenville Caribous moved into second place in the standings as they take two from the Gander Flyers winning Sunday 6-5.
Chad Earle tallied twice for the Caribous with Keith Delaney, Ryan Derosiers, Kenny Mahoney and Cody McNamara adding singles. Andrew Ryan scored three times for Gander and Mike Dyke added a pair.

The first place Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts continued their winning ways on Saturday night beating the Corner Brook Royals 6-2.
Danny Wicks and Cam Fergus connected for a pair of goals for the Cataracts. Brandon Bussy and Steve Yetman scored singles.
Justin Pender and Dan Marshall replied for the Royals.
