St. John’s Caps defeated Southern Shore Breakers 9-5 in action Monday as they grabbed a 2-nothing first period lead and held a commanding 6-2 lead after 40 minutes of play. The Caps move into a first place tie with the Northeast Eagles.
Lucas Deering was the offensive leader with two goals. Jon Caul, Jeremy O’Rielly, Pat Parfrey . Colin Escott, Paul Mitchelmore, Mark Rideout, and Robert Barrettadded singles.
Damian Ryan, Scott McCarthy, Jeremy Nicholas, D J Elliott and Chris Hammond replied for the Shore.
