The Cataracts scored twice in the first added three in the second and two in the third for a 7-5 win over Conception Bay Blues Friday night. The Blues staged a comeback in the third with four goals but just wasn’t enough.
Nick Lidstrom led the winners with two goals. Kyle McGuirk, Michael Brent, Shawn Loveridge, Greg Hoffe and Andrew Brennan added singles.
Michael Ryan scored a pair of goals for the Blues with teammates Tyler Adams, Drake Dower and Brandon Street adding single goals.
