Caps win 2025 Senior Baseball championship

ST JOHN’S, NL – The St John’s Capitols walked away with the BaseBall NL Newfoundland and Labrador Senior Men’s Baseball Championship today at St Pat’s ball park in St John’s.

The lopsided win over the Mount Pearl Blazers saw the Blazers put one run on the board in the first inning but the Cap’s posted three and it was all the Cap’s game after that. The board told the story with a final score of 10-1  and a 13 to 3 hits for the Caps.

Players of The Game were Ryan Hurley, the third baseman for Mount Pearl and Jacob Reid, the DH, for St John’s. 

Top Batter was also Ryan Hurley and Most Valuable Player, Jacob Reid.

The top picture award went to Dylan Morgan of St John’s.

Oter teams in this provincial championship were the CBS Raiders, Pasadena Pirates and the Corner Brook Barons.
