JACK REARDIGAN PASSES AWAY

The Sporting Community in Newfoundland is mourning the loss of a great athlete and sports executive.

97 year old Jack Reardigan passed away Wednesday.

He is a member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Hall of Fame. Reardigan was also president of the Royal St. John’s Regatta Committee and is an honourary member of the Regatta Committee. He was also a hockey official in the province for many years. 

He also played in 12 Boyle Trophy Championship teams with St. Bon’s between 1944 and 1956.
