The Corner Brook Royals scored three first period goals added singles in second and third frames and defeated Port aux Basques Mariners 5-3 on Friday night.
Nick Childs, Ryan Roche, William Keating, Josh Smith and Wilfred Bellows scored for the Royals.
Robert Parsons and Darren Dean replied for the Mariners.
With the win the Royals have a 3-3-1 record on the season and the Mariners fall to 0-6. Deer Lake who hist Port aux Basques Saturday night are winless in six games.
