Clarenville scored five third period goals en route to a 7-1 win over CB Blues for their first win of the ECSHL season.
Justin Pender tallied twice for the winners. Kenny Mahoney, Lucas Goobie, Josh St. George, Chad Earle and Dustin Flight had singles. Brandon O’Neill scored for the CB Blues in the second period.

The 2019-20 East Coast Senior Hockey League season has finally started and two games were played on Friday night.
The game between Clarenville and Northeast Eagles was decided in a shootout with the Eagles winning the game 3-2. Liam Myers scored the winner in the shootout, Andrew Paul and Matt Walsh scored in regulation time for the Eagles.
Mason Reid and Ken Mahoney had the goals for the Caribous.

Southern Shore Breakers downed the St. John’s Caps 5-2 as five players shared in the scoring.
Jeremy Nicholas, Daniel Dalton, Andrew Gale, Daniel Cadigan and Brandon Baird scored the Shore goals.
Joe Trenholm and Kyle McGraath replied for the Caps.
