C-B-R TAKE OVER FIRST PLACE IN JR HOCKEY

Aaron Greenham tallied twice and C-B-R Renegades won their second game of the weekend beating T P Flyers 4-1. Dean Stonehouse and Tyler Wall added singles. Ethan Salsman replied for the Flyers.

S A T U R D A Y

C-B-R Renegades moved into first place in the St. John’s Junior Hockey League Saturday night scoring five third period goals to beat Southern Shore Breakers 7-3.

Tyler Nickson had a pair of goals for the winners.

Nick Gosse, Blake Fudge, Lucas Osmond, Jimmy Kennedy and Aaron Peach added singles 

Brendan Holihan, Riley Coady and Brady George replied for the Breakers

Mount Pearl Blades scored twice in the first added a single in the second and two in the third for a 5-1 win over the Avalon Capitals. 

Ryan Chislett netted two goals to lead the winners offensive attack.

Andrew Kennedy, Brady Normore and Mitchell McGrath had singles. Jude Power replied for the Capitals.

Mark Barrett and Luke Akerman tallied twice each and C-B-N Stars downed Southern Shore Breakers 6-1 in St. John’s Junior Hockey play Friday night.  Jordan Coombs and Matthew Hoyles rounded out the scoring for the winners.

Brendan Houlihan had the lone goal for the Shore.
