The Bigs 2– Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs 1
The Bigs get a 2-1 win over Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs and all their runs were scored as a result of the wild pitch.
Mark Power pitches the win on a four hitter. He issued three free passes and fanned ten.
Bryan Clarke went two for three for the winners.
The Bigs RUNS:
1R 5th: With 1-Out: Mark Power walked, Shane O’Brien singled to right-field, Power advanced to third base on the play and later scored on a wild pitch.
1R 6th: With 2-Out: Bryan Clarke singled to left-field, Aaron Whelan came on to pinch-run for Clarke, Whelan stole second base, advanced to third base on a pass ball and scored on a wild pitch.
Sean Cleary takes the loss and gives up just three hits and had 12 strikeouts. The wild pitch did however, come back to haunt him.
Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs RUNS:
1R 6th: Jon Kelly led-off the inning with a walk, Brent Hatfield came on to pinch-run for Kelly, Hatfield advanced to second base on a Andrew Wade SAC; Wade out 1-4 on the play and With 1-Out: Hatfield advanced to third base on a Stephen Strapp fly out to centerfield and With 2-Out: Hatfield scored on a wild pitch.
The Dance Academy Dodgers 5– NTV Hitmen 4 (8-Innings)
Steven Pittman singled in the eighth inning bringing Eddie Hefferan home with the game winning run as Dance Academy Dodgers edged NTV Hitmen 5-4.
Colin Walsh goes the distance for the win and has nine strikeouts.
