S A T U R D A Y

The Port aux Mariners evened their best of seve West Coast Senior Hockey League final with a 7-3 win over Corner Brook Royals.

Matt Robinson scored three times for the Mariners and Jasper Dicks added two goals. Darren Dean and Byron Francis had the other goals.

 

Matt Colbourne, Tyler Hunt and David Budgell had the Royals markers.

 

Game three will be played Friday at eight in Corner Brook.

The Corner Brook Royals won the opening game of the best of seven West Coast Senior Hockey League finals.

 

Matt Colbourne scored twice and the Royals edged the Port aux Basques Mariners 6-5 at the Brice Area Friday night.

 

Ryan Hawco, Josh Smith, Alex Hillier and Kurt Etchegary had the other Royals goals.

 

Game two will be played Saturday night in Corner Brook.
