St. John’s Junior Hockey play Sunday Trinity Placentia get by Mount Pearl 6-5.

Colin McNamara, Justin Edison and Lucas Reid had two goals each for the winners.

Brady Normore had two goals for Mt Pearl.

S A T U R D A Y

C-B-R Renegades doubled Southern Shore Breakers 8-4 in St. John’s Junior hockey play Saturday.

Drew Stonehouse, Tyler Wall and Nick Gosse all scored two goals each for the winners. Andrew Barron and Ryan Day added singles. Blake Dalton, Brandan Houlahan, Robert Kavanagh and Kieran O’Driscoll replied for the Shore.

 

In a second game St. John’s Caps downed Mount Pearl Blades 5-2. Dyland MacKenzie led the winners with two goals with singles from Steven Mallard, Liam Maher and Michael Williams. Tyler Power and Hared Ostroski scored for Mt Pearl.

 

 

F R I D A Y 

Cass Warren scored four goals leading C-B-N Stars to an 8-5 win over Trinity Placentia Flyers Friday night in St. John’s Junior Hockey League play.

Luke Akerman added two goals and singles came from Ryan Williams and Cameron Simms.

Conal McNamara, Justin Edison, Lyndon Thorne and Tyler Smith replied for the losers.

Southern Shore Breakers came away with a 4-1 victory over Roebothan, McKay and Marshall Avalon Capitals. Four players shared in the scoring Robert Kavanagh, Shayne Kavanagh, A J Doyle and Brendan Houlihan. Evan Gallant replied for the Capita
