Kieran Buckingham tossed a two hitter and Roebothan McKay and Marshall Gonzaga Vikings defeated Feildians 7-1 in one of three St. John’s senior baseball games Tuesday night.
Over six innings Buckingham walked seven and fanned five. David Lahey came in relief and pitched one inning.
Alex Walsh pitched two and one third innings and takes the loss. Brad Roche came in relief.
Veteran Mike O’Neill of Gonzaga was the game’s top batter going three for four.
Mattie Murphy gets the win and Shamrocks downed Knights 8-3. Brandon Jackson gets the loss in this game. Murphy walked three and struck out five giving up eight hits. Jackson went four plus innings and have up the eight runs on eight hits. Cody Wiggins came in relief.
Dewy Symonds went two for three for the Shamrocks while Shawn Beeson went two for three for the Knights.
