SYMONDS, DUNNE WIN TRAVELERS CURLING

Andrew Symonds and his rink of Mark Healy, Dave Noftall and Keith Jewer claimed the 2017 provincial Travelers championship Sunday in Corner Brook. The Symonds team defeated Bas Buckle and did it the hard way scoring two in the eighth end for the win.

Symonds will now head to Kingston Ontario  for the Nationals November 20th to 25th. Simmonds won that title in 2015.

Wendy Dunne and his rink of Jennifer Taylor, Andrea Heffernan and Susie Ennis are the women’s Travelers champions. They defeated Sherri McNeil 9-4 in the championship game. Dunne also goes to the Nationals in Kingston Ontario. November 2oth to 25th
