The Trinity Placentia Flyers upset the C-B-R Renegades 2-1 in play Sunday at Whitbourne. Connor Stevens and Dakota Warren scored for the winners. Matt Power had the Renegades goal. Flyers were up 1-0 after one and 2-0 after two.

 

Harry Noftall and Andrew Paul scored twice each leading roebothan McKay and Marshall Avalon Capitals past Mount Pearl Blades 6-2. Coady Barron and Adam Caines had the singles.

Aaron Moore and Bobby Upshall with the goals for the losers.

The Blades had a 1-0 lead after the first. The Capitals score six unanswered second period goals for a 6-1 lead heading to the third.

The C-B-R Renegades scored three goals in the first added one in the second and three in the third to edge Roebothan, McKay and Marshall Avalon Capitals 7-6 in Junior Hockey play Saturday night in Kelligrews.

Mitch King scored two goals and set up three others with Matt Porter and Stephen LeGrow also scoring two goals as well. The single marker scored by Colin Chafe.

Ben Cleary had three goals and an assist for the Capitals. Adam Caines, Brett Vokey and John Charles Snow had single markers.

Chris Mallard scored a pair of goals leading the Celtics to a 4-3 decision over the St. John’s Caps at the Twin Rinks.

Joey Trenholm and Jason Michaud provided backup with single markers.

Alex Snow tallied twice for the Caps with teammate Graham Oldford having a lone marker.

Down 3-1 after the second period, C-B-N Stars scored six unanswered goals in the third period to registrar a 7-3 win over the visiting Southern Shore Breakers Friday night at the Bay Arena.

Tyson Drover scored twice and added two assists in this victory for the Stars. Teammates Ryan Dawson, Adam Oates, Bradley Budden, Lucas Goobie and Josh LeDrew added singles.

Eric Diamond, Phil Corbett and Mitchell O’Driscoll replied for the Shore.

The C-B-N stars had command of this game out shooting the Breakers 42-14.
