Holy Cross and Feildians played two games basically on Thursday night
First they completed a game from June 21st. Gerry Stone’s solo home run in the bottom of the 9th inning earned Holy Cross an 8-7 win. Stone was credited with the win and Brad Roche takes the loss.
The second game was a wild one. Feildians edged Cross 14-13. Both teams used several pitchers.
Aaron Flood who pitched one inning gets the win. Alex Walsh the first of four pitchers started the game. Brad Roche and Dan Phillips also saw mound duties.
Holy Cross used three pitchers. Danny Rice who tossed one inning is tagged with the loss. Kevin Cashin started and Sean Janes also saw mound duty.
Keegan Spurrell was the Feildians top batter with a two for two performance and both hits were home runs. He has hit three home runs in his last two games.
Steve Crouse was four for five for Cross.
Shamrocks defeated Storm 6-1 in senior baseball on Thursday night at Smallwood Drive Field.
