CBN Stars nipped the Trinity Placentia Flyer 6-4.

Devin Whalen and Jarred Walters  led the winners with  two goals apiece. Mark Ryan and Josh Rogers  added singles.Connor Stevens netted a pair of goals for the Flyers with Coral McNamara and Tyler Whittle with singles

Mount Pearl Junior Blades got two goals from Andrew Ricketts and one from Colin O’Neil to lift the Blades to a 3-0 win over the Northeast Junior Eagles. Mitch Rogers was in goal for the shutout.

 

 

Saturday Night

CBR Renegades downed the Trinity  Placentia Flyers 6-1 in St. John’s Junior Hockey League play Saturday night.

Blake Fudge and Carter Marissen both scored twice while Lucas Lush and Nick David adding singles.

Lynden Thorne replied for the Flyers .

St John’s Junior Caps edged Northeast Eagles 3-2.  Zac Cooper, Robbie Everson and Danny Rice scored for the Caps.

Lucas Reid and Brandon Sexton replied for the Eagles.

Roebothan,  McKay and Marshall Avalon Junior Capitals edged Southern Shore Breakers 5-3.

Coady Barron lead the way with two goals Ben Cleary, Harry Noftall and Dave Penney scored for the Capitals.

Liam  Hynes  had two and Donavan Warren had a single for the Breakers.

F R I D A Y

The Southern Shore  Breakers clinched first place in the St. John’s Junior Hockey League on Friday Night with 6-4 win over the St. John’s Junior Caps. The Caps will finish second.

Jonas Foley and Blake Dalton both had two goals. Shane Kavanagh and Justin David added singles.

Caps scorers were Dylan Mackenzie, Stephen Mallard, Grant Nolan, and Danny Rice  

In another game Mount Pearl Junior Blades doubled the CBN Stars 8-4.

Michael Broders and Mitch McGrath had two goals each while Grant Thompson, Max Rex, Pierce Holiday and Andrew Pollard had singles.

Stars get goals from Scott Delaney, Devin Whalen, Andrew  Churchill, Reilly Deering, and Ryan Dawson.
