S U N D A Y 

 
The Trinity Placentia Flyers scored goals in the first and third periods and edged the Celtics 2-1 in play Sunday. Matt Hanson and Jordan Richards get the goals for the Flyers. Grahan Oldford had the Celtics goal.

Mount Pearl Blades doubled C-B-R Renegades 8-4 as Matt Rex and Stephen Predham scored twice each. The remaining goals wetre netted by Bradyn Brown, Bobby Upshall, Aaron Moore and Daniel Toope.
The Renegades goals came from Mitch King, Andrew Barron, Lucas Lush and Ryan Day.

 

 

 

S A T U R D A Y 

 

Ben Marshall scored in overtime lifting the Roebothan McKay and Marshall Avalon Capitals to a 3-2 win over Southern Shore Breakers in St. John’s Junior Hockey League play.

 

Iain Gamba and Steve Day with the other goals in regulation time.

 

Justin David and Claude Moulasion scored for the Shore.

 

Aaron Small had a busy night in net for the Capitals facing 62 shots and making 60 saves.
