ST JOHNS EDGE MAKE TWO MOVES

The St. John’s Edge have made a couple of moved for the upcoming season.

First they have signed Texas native Nick Banyard for the upcoming season.season.  

Banyard, 6-foot-8, 225 pounds is a product of the University of Central Florida in NCAA Division 1. He made his pro debut in 2017-18 with Rayos de Hermosillo of the Mexican CIBACOPA league. In 9 games, he averaged 12.89 points, 6.78 rebounds, and 1.11 assists. He shot .533 (49-for-92) from the field and .684 (13-for-19) at the free throw line.  

The Edge have also acquired the rights to Guillaume Boucard from the Sudbury Five for cash considerations.

Boucard, 6-foot-6, 197 pounds was a member of the Niagara River Lions last season. In 42 games, he averaged 14.16 points, 7.70 rebounds, and 2.95 assists.
