Kelly’s Pub Molson Bull Dogs have taken the opening game of the best of seven St. John’s senior softball final series.
The Bulldogs get a pitching and hitting performance from Sean Cleary to take a 10-3 six inning victory over NTV Hitmen.
Cleary the pitcher went the six innings giving up five hits and recording 13 strikeouts. Cleary the batter had a three for four performance with two three run homers.
Robbie Greene is tagged with the loss. He pitched five and two thirds innings allowing ten runs on seven hits with three walks and eight strike outs.
Game Two in the series goes 6:30 Tuesday at Lions.
