The Avalon East Senior Hockey League held its final draft of the season Tuesday night.
Southern Shore picked Cory Blackmore; and Ben Marshall Bell Island took Matt Densmore; Northeast selected Andrew Smith; CeeBee Stars drafted John Charles Snow; CeeBees then took Mitch Bragg.
The Avalon East Scoring race leader is Matthew Thomey of the CeeBee Stars. He has played 19 games and has tallied 13 goals and 17 assists for 30 points.
Jeremy Nicholas of Southern Shore Breakers is second with 28 points with 18 goals tops in the league and 10 assists.
