SHAMROCKS STAGE COMEBACK

Shamrocks 6 and Feildians 5

The Feildians blew a one  run lead going into the bottom of the 7th. The shamrocks completed the comeback on a bases loaded single by Andrew Symonds. The Feildians had intentionally walked Scott Stockley the batter before to try their luck with Symonds.

Ryan Dooley (2 IP, 2H, 0R, 0BB, 3K and 1HBP) came in for the save and gets the win. Greg Barry (5 IP, 7H, 5R, 4ER, 2BB and 7K) started for the Shamrocks. Mike Delaney (7IP, 5H, 6R, 4ER, 4BB and 1K) pitched a complete game but takes the loss.

Top batter for the Shamrocks was Andrew Symonds who was 3 for 4 with three  singles and two RBI. Top batter for the Feildians was Mike Delaney who was 2 for 4 with a single, a double and an RBI.

 

Holy Cross 12 and Storm 2

It only took five innings for Holy Cross to complete the victory over Storm. They got a big game from their starting pitcher Mike Glynn (5 IP, 4H, 2R, 1ER, 4BB and 7K) who settled in after the 1st inning. Jon Dawe (3+ IP, 2H, 8R, 7ER, 8BB and 2K) takes the loss for Storm.

Top batter for Cross was Blair Evans who was 2 for 3 with a single, a double, two RBI and a walk. Top batter for Storm was Steve Brien who was 1 for 1 with a single and two walks.
