Shamrocks and Roebothan McKay and Marshall Gonzaga Vikings are both one win away from meeting in the St. John’s Senior Baseball finals.

The Shamrocks defeated Holy Cross 11-2 Sunday in the completion of an earlier game to go up two games to home against Cross.

Holy Cross rebounded in the scheduled game with a 6-5 win. So Shamrocks lead the best of five affair two games to one with game four Tuesday at six.

 

The Vikings moved closer to a finals berth beating Feildians 15-8. Kieran Buckingham tosses the win and Brad Roche takes the loss. The vikings can wrap up the series when the teams meet Tuesday at 8:30 at St. Pat’s.

 

 

 

Holy Cross rebounded in game three to score two runs in top of seventh for a 6-5 win. Shamrocks have a two games to one lead in the series. Justin Crawley gets the win and Matt Murphy takes the loss. game four set for Tuesday at St. Pats at 8:30.

 

 

Shamrocks have moved to within one win of advancing to the St. John’s senior baseball final best of seven series.

The Shamrocks defeated Holy Cross 11-2 Sunday to finish off a game suspended after six innings on Thursday evening.
