Medical staff tend to Corner Brook player Ryan Salvis at the Joe Byrne Memorial Stafdium
Rodi Short of the Cataracts has been handed a three game suspension by the Central West Senior Hockey League. The suspension comes after a hit in last weekend second game of the finals. Short was assessed a five minute boarding penalty and a game misdconduct for his hit on Ryan Salvis of the Corner Brook Royals. Reports indicate that Salvis suffered two broken ribs as a result of the hit.
The Cataracts and Royals resume their best of seven west final this weekend.
