RENEGADES BLANK CAPS IN JR HOCKEY

Liam Hynes scored in overtime and Southern Shore Breakers edged Northeast Eagles 5-4 Sunday in Junior Hockey League play.

 

Matthew Templeman scored three times for the winners and Noah Dinn had a single.

 

Kyle Chapman tallied twice for the Eagles and Ryan Ricketts and Brad Holwell had singles.

Tyler Hennessey scored two goals and C B R Renegades came away with a 3-nothing win over St. John’s Caps in Junior Hockey League play Saturday night. Luke Peddle had the other goal.

 

Shawn Hurley was in goal for the shutout.

F R I D A Y 

CBR Renegades fired home two second and two third period goals and doubled Northeast Eagles 4-2 in St. John’s Junior Hockey League play Friday night.

 

The Renegades also were strong on the offensive side firing 47 shots at the Northeast net while the Eagles managed 24 shots on the Renegades net.

 

Tyler Nickson was the offensive leader for the Renegades scoring three times. Lucas Lsh added a single.

 

Max French and Lucas Reid replied for the Eagles.
