RENEGADES ARE JUNIOR HOCKEY CHAMPIONS

The C-B-R Renegades are the 2018-19 St. John’s Junior Hockey League champions.

 

It took double overtime, or five periods of hockey in game seven of the series before Drew Stonehouse scored to give the Renegades their first ever Junior Hockey League title. The Renegades win the best of seven series four games to three.

 

 

Tyler Nickson and Dominic Nugent scored the other goals for the CBR squad .

 

Brandon Knight and Colin O’Neil replied for Mount Pearl.

 

Well over 13 hundred fans were on hand to watch the final game in this the 39th season since the revival of junior hockey in St. John’s
