In the Final on a sunny afternoon at Jubilee the Barons jumped out to an early 3-0 lead before the Pilots edged closer with the score 3-2 Barons heading into the last setting the stage for some dramatics.
First off Mike Dyke hit a solo shot, his second Homer of the tournament in the top of the 7th to tie the game at 3 heading to the bottom of the 7th. Aaron Flood led off the inning with a double down the left field line. Greg Sharpe laid down a sacrifice bunt to move Flood to 3rd with the heart of the Barons lineup waiting.
Rather then walk Darren Colbourne and Steve Hynes to load the bases setting up the force at all bases they elected to pitch to the Barons strength. AJ Whiffen got ahead 2 strikes in the count. The 0-2 pitch was a good pitch off the plate but Clobourne reached out and spanked a line drive past the drawn in infield for the walk off victory.
Matt Colbourne earned the win throwing a great complete game earning him player of the game and Top Pitcher for the tournament honours. AJ Whiffen took the loss for Gander.

Steve Hynes of the Barons was the MVP for the tournament finishing with a. 400 batting average, 11 runs batted in and a win from the hill.
