CAPS UP TWO GAMES TO ONE IN BASEBALL FINALS

GAME THREE

Gander  Pilots won game three of the provincial senior baseball final Sunday downing the Caps 5-nothing. A J Whiffen tossed the win and contributed at the plate with two hits. Game four set for next Saturday at St.Pat’s.

GAME TWO

Dan Connors was on the mound and pitched the win as the Caps downed Gander 5-2 in game two of the best of seven provincial baseball final. Caps has a two games to none advantage in the best of seven final. Game three set for Sunday at one o’clock at St. Pats. 

GAME ONE

The defending provincial senior baseball champions St. John’s Capitals  blanked the Gander Pilots 7-3 as the provincial senior baseball final series started Saturday at St Pats.

Scott Goosney pitched the win in this game.  Matt Colbourne takes the loss.
