The St. John’s Senior Men’s Fast Pitch Softball League has named Sean Cleary of Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs as player of the Month for the Month of August.
He was 2-0 in league play and 4-0 at the National championships. He had a 3-2 record at the International Softball Tournament. In the month of august he recorded 135 strikeouts.
Cleary Helped The Toronto Gators To A 2nd Place Finish At The ISC World Tournament And Was Named 2nd Team All-World Pitcher.
Cleary Led The Defending Champion Galway Hitmen To The Province’s Fourth Straight Canadian Senior Men’s Fastpitch Crown.
The Intermediate player of the month is Brandon Pomroy of the Game on Gear team.
He played outfield for the Game on Gear team and at the Under 21 Nationals.
He had a .667 batting average in league play and .385 at the Nationals
