            The regular season in Corner Brook senior baseball came to an end on Tuesday night as the Monarchs defeated the Aces 5-3. Brad Brewer picks up the win in this contest.   A St. John’s baseball player Danny Rice  has been selected to Team Atlantic for the T12 Baseball tournament September 14th to 18th in Toronto. The tournament is organized by the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Academy and Robbie Alomar. College and University scouts are in attendance and watch games and scout players for their respective colleges  or university. Rice plays for Holy Cross in the St. John’s Intermediate baseball league.…

    Vandals claimed the St. John’s Rugby league summer championship during the weekend. Vandals defeated Swilers 14-7.
