    Hill United Chiefs won the 2017 ISC World fast pitch softball tournament. Newfoundland players Shane Boland, Brad Ezekiel, Jason Hill are with that team as well as John Hill (Field Manager). They finished with a 6-0 record . Also Sean Cleary who was also a participant in this tournament with CanAm Twist was named to the all world all star team he pitched 28 innings gave up seven runs had 53 strikeouts and one perfect game.  …

FEWER WINS 5K ROAD RACE

    Colin Fewer won the Oceanview 5k road race Sunday. He finished the race in 15 minutes and 32 seconds. Second place went to Evan Knight with a time of 15 minutes and 32 second. Jason Guy was third and his time was 16 minutes and 28 seconds.     Jennifer Murrin was the first female across the finish line. Her time was 17 minutes and 03 seconds.
