GROWLERS KELLY CUP CHAMPIONS

History has been made. The Newfoundland Growlers won the provinces first ever provincial hockey championship beating Toledo Walleye 4-3 to win the ECHL championship and the Kelly Cup.They take the best of seven series four games to two.

In the final game Giorgio Estephan led the winners with two goals. Matt Bradley and Josh Kestner had singles.

Zack O’Brien of the Growlers was named the playoff MVP. Siome 6329 fans saw the game at Mile One.
