NO RESOLUTION TO PROBLEMS IN EAST COAST SR HOCKEY LEAGUE

Still no resolution to the problems facing the East Coast Hockey League. THe teams met Wednesday night and many issues remain unresolved. They will meet again on Thursday night to make another effort to resolve the impasse.

The East Coast Senior Hockey League held it’s player draft Wednesday night.

Former Mount Pearl Blades forward Grant Thompson was the first overall pick by the St. John’s Caps. The North East Eagles picked second and chose Eric Hutchings. Caps picked third and claimed Michael Abbott. The Clarenvile Caribous had two picks and chose Colin Hogan and Andrew Murphy . The CBR Blues chose Colin Hogan
