NO HITTER IN CORNER BROOK BASEBALL

Jay Warford pitched a no hitter and Hawks edged Marlins 1-nothing in Corner Brook senior baseball play Monday night.

He faced 22 batters one over the seven inning walking two . He fanned eight.
The winning and games only run came in the top of the fifth inning.

Tyler Gardner takes the loss allowing five hits and recording four strike outs.
Ian Griffin of the Hawks was the top batter in this game with a two for three performance.
