NEWHOOK NAMED MOST VALUABLE PLAYER

Its official.

The Canadian Junior Hockey League has announced that St. John’s native Alex Newhook has been named the MVP for the league for the 2018-19 season.

Newhook plays for the Victoria Grizzlies this past season and has 38 goals and 64 assists for 102 points to win the scoring title in the BCHL. \

Newhook will be playing with Boston College on the NCAA Division One on a scholarship this fall.
