The Newfoundland teams competing in National Soccer championships are now in Calgary.
Holy Cross will be representing this province in the men’s Challenge Cup Competition which starts on Wednesday but they will not play their first game until Thursday against Alberta’s B team at 9:30 island time.
They will play Manitoba Friday at 5:30 island time.
12 teams are competing for the men’s title with the teams broken down into four divisions of three teams.
The women’s team competing in the Jubilee competition is Conception Bay South Kirby United.
They also play their first game Thursday against Nova Scotia at 4:30 island time.
They face Saskatchewan on Friday at 4:30 island time.
There are eight teams after the Jubilee championship and there are two divisions of four.
