MUN WOMENS BASKETBALL 5 GAME STREAK OVER

S U N D A Y

The Memorial women;s five game winning streak came to an end Sunday as they fell 81-72 to Acadia. They remain in first place with a 9-2 record. Haillie Nickerson had 29 points for MUN and Alana Shore added 23.

The men’s team lost Sunday in a real barn burner 89-87 to Acadia. Cole Long with 24 points for MUN.

S A T U R D A Y

Memorial SeaHawks women’s basketball team made it five wins in a row as they downed Acadia 86-72 Saturday in AUS basketball play. 

Memorial were once again led by Haille Nickerson who scored 33 points and team mate Alana Short added 18. 

Memorial now 9-2 on the season.

The men’s basketball team fell 85-75 to Acadia and are now 5-6 on the season.

Deng Ring had 19 points for Memorial and Nicholas Tuff backed him with 18.
