MUN WOMEN’S SOCCER TEAM OFF TO PLAYOFFS

Both Memorial teams had ties Saturday. The women’s team is headed to post season play –played Dalhousie to a scoreless draw. Sydney Walsh had nine saves in goal for MUN.  The women’s team will play  St F X in the quarter final match up Thursday at five o;clock island time. The men’s team tied Dal 1-1 as Jacob Grant scored the goal. The women’s team finish with a record of 4-3-5 and the men finished 3-6-2.

Memorial Sea Hawks men’s and women’s teams fell in AUS soccer play Friday.

Dalhouse blanked the men’s team 3-nothing. MUN fall to 3-6-2 on the season while Dal improves to 6-2-3.

In women’s play Memorial lost 1-nothing to Dal. Stacey Hanlon had the MUN goal. Memorial now 4-3-4 and Dal 6-3-2.
