1 min read

Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador has  announced that Mount Pearl will be hosting a 2020 Male & Female Pre Canada-Winter Games – Skills Development Camp at the Glacier August 17-21

The goal of the camp is to give the players eligible for the 2023 Canada Winter Games in Prince Edward Island a chance to play and learn with those of their age group in preparation for the future High Performance Program. Players will learn of the expectations of the Hockey NL High Performance Program and the process of Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence. An on-ice emphasis will be put on ‘skill development’ to the specific player position. There will be no evaluations at this camp. This camp will not affect any selections to future High Performance Program teams nor the 2023 Canada Winter Games Selections.

The camp is open to Female players born in 2005 & 2006 and Male players born in 2007.
