Grand Falls Windsor won the Provincial Girls under 14 baseball championship this weekend. They defeated St. John’s 8-1 in the championship game. The Most Valuable player in this tournament was Katie Penney of Grand Falls Windsor.
St. John’s won the Boy’s Midget AA title with a 7-nothing win over Corner Brook. Eric McKay of St. John’s was named the tournament MVP.
C-B-S won the provincial boys Bantam A title edging St. John’s 8-7 in the championship game. Josh Peyton of C-B-S was named that tournament’s most valuable player.
