Goulds native James Melindy has re-signed with the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League. He gets a one year contract with the farm team of the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL.
He played last season with both the East Coast Hockey Leagues Wichita Thunder and the Gulls.
Melinda was drafted in the third round 88th over all in 2014.
