CBR, SHORE POST JR HOCKEY WINS

S A T U R D A Y

Two games were played Saturday in junior hockey. Nick Gosse scored twice and CBR defeated Roebothan McKay and Marshall Avalon Capitals 6-3.  Southern Shore Breakers downed St Johns Caps 6-4.

 

 

 

 

F R I D A Y

 

The Mt. Pearl Junior Blades defeated the Southern Shore Junior Breakers 9 – 3 Friday evening in St. John’s Junior Hockey League game played at the Southern Shore Arena.

Mitch McGrath lead the Blades with three  goals. Jack Keough contributed two markers while singles were scored by Colin O’Neill, Zach Morris, Adam Nolan and Tyler Power.  Scoring for the Breakers were Blake Dalton, A J Doyle and Roland Power.

C-B-N Stars edged Trinity Placentia Flyers 7-6 in a second game. Matt Bartlett potted two goals for the winners. Ryan Petten, Cass Walker, Justin Janes, Christian Daae and Jordan Coombs had singles.

Lyndon Thorne had four goals for the Flyers and teammates William Hickey and Mitch Lawlor had the other goals.
