The SPORTSPAGE has learned that Joe Maynard has been ousted as general manager of the Northeast Eagles of the Eastern Senior Hockey League.

Sources tell THE SPORTSPAGE that Maynard has been replaced by James Cadigan a member of the senior hockey team.

The Sportspage has made several attempts to contact officials of the Eagles to confirm the information but no one is available for comment.

Maynard, a native of Flatrock, was recognized as an individual who has served amateur hockey faithfully, winning the Hockey Canada Order of Merit award for Atlantic Canada.
