Atlantic Woodworking claimed the 24th annual Margaret Breen Memorial Basketball tournament championship Saturday at the Waterford Valley High School Gym.

They defeated M5 51-49 in a closely contested game. Mark Squires hooped 11 points for the winners and Darryl Budgell added 10.

Jeremy McCarthy of the losers was the games top scorer with 23 points.

Jason Ryan of Atlantic Woodworking was named the tournament MVP.

M5 earned a finals berth beating Swilers 53-51 in overtime. McCarthy led the winners with 13 points. John Madden hit for 16 points for the loser.

Atlantic Woodworking earned a spot in the final with a 57-46 decision over Fougere Menchenton Architects. Jason Ryan had 16 points for the winners and Brian Byrne hooped 19 points for the losers.
