The Western Kings split their weekend series with the St Johns Maple Leafs. The Leafs get a 5-4 shootout win oon Sunday. Danny Rice gets the shootout winner for the Leafs. Rice, James Lock, and Dylan MacKenzie had the single goals for the Leafs. James Locke had two goals. Lucas Wiseman, Andrew Antle, Ryan Roche and Robert Hicks with the goals for the Western Kings.

It went to a shootout in Major Midget Hockey play Saturday night at Mount Pearl Glacier.
The Western Kings come away with a 4-3 win over the St. John’s Maple Leafs.
Jalen Gillard who had two goals in regulation time also scored the winner in the shootout. Robert Hicks had the other goal for the Kings.
Tyler Wall, Danny Rice and Kyle McGrath had the goals for the Leafs.
The teams play again Sunday at ten o clock at the Glacier
