The St. John’s Maple Leafs Midget Triple AAA team won both weekend games they played.
Saturday they went to overtime and edged the Western Kings 4-3. Kyle McGrath scored three goals including the game winner in the extra session and also added an assist. Dylan McKenzie added the single. Josh Langmead gets the win in goal for the Leafs.
Ethan Retieffe had two goals for the Kings.
Sunday the Leafs win 8-3. McGrath had three goals and three assists in that game while McKenzie added a pair.
