Two members of the St. John’s Maple Leafs Midget hockey team have been named to the first all-star team at the East Coast Ice Jam major might hockey tournament being played in Bedford Nova Scotia.
Josh Langmead played in two games in the tournament and compiled a 0.92 goals against average in the two games he played. In the provincial midget hockey league so far this season, Langmead has appeared in 12 games for the Maple Leafs and has eight wins and three losses for a 2.90 goals against average.
Forward Kyle McGrath also named to the first all-star team at the tournament. This season he is the teams leading scorer with 13 goals and 23 assists in the teams 25 games.
