JUNIOR HOCKEY SEASON BEGINS

The St. John’s Junior Hockey League started it’s new season Friday night.

The opening game at the Bay Arena saw the C-B-N Stars open up a 6-nothing lead and coast to a 7-4 win over Southern Shore.

Ryan Dawson had a pair of goals for the winners with singles coming from Mark Barrett, Ryan Petten, Cass Warren, Steven Moores and Jordan Coombs.

Scoring for the Breakers were Brendan Houlihan, A.J. Doyle, Donovan Warren and Robert Kavanagh.
