HOLY CROSS BREEN’S JUBILLEE SOCCER CHAMPIONS

Holy Cross Avalon Ford won their fourth straight Breens Jubilee Ladies Soccer championship as they edged Feildians 2-1 in the championship game.

Jessie Noseworthy had both goals for Holy Cross. Stacey Hanlon replied for Feildians.

Both these teams will represent the province at the National Ladies championships in September here in St. John’s. 

 The National championships ate set for St Johns October 9th to 13th 

League awards were handed out prior to the game:

Sandy Faulkner Award (Top scorer regular season) – Jessie Noseworthy, Holy Cross

Rookie of the Year – Jillian Holden (CBS)

Coach of the Year – Andrew Murphy (CBS)

Joy Burt Award (Regular Season Most Spirited) – Taeler Keane (CBS)

Jean Thompson Award (First place regular season ) – Holy Cross
