Two games were played in St. John’s intermediate Baseball Friday.

Holy Cross edged Shamrocks 5-4.

Andrew Janes in relief of starter Alex Griffin gets the win. Mattyh Murphy who came on in relief of starter Dylan MacKenzie is tagged with the loss.

Vinny Grace of Holy Cross was the games top batter with three hits in five plate appearances.

Josh Langmead of the Shamrocks was his teams top batter with two hits.

 

In another game Gonzaga shutout Storm 10-0 in a game called after five innings by the league mercy rule.

The winning pitcher was Scott Hynes who goes the five innings. He gave up three hits walked just one batter and fanned six.

Ryan Rendell takes the loss. He gave up eight hits and walked eight.

Dan Connors of Gonzaga was the top batter in this game with two hits.
