The rumours are persistent around the central area of the province . A deal is being sought.
It looks like the Avalon East Senior Hockey League 2017 and the Central West Senior Hockey League have been working on interlocking games.
The new league in the east now is the Avalon East Senior Hockey League 2017. The league will consist of St. John’s Capitals, Bell Island Blues, Southern Shore Breakers and Northeast Eagles.
The Capitals apparently will play home games at Twin Rinks, Bell Island at CBS and Bell Island, Breakers at Witless Bay and the Eagles at Jack Byrne.
The west league has three teams so far, Gander, Grand Falls Windsor and Clarenville.
According to the rumour mill the two league would have an interlocking set of games between each other. Its initially believed but not confirmed that the teams would play each team twice once at home and once on the road. However NO details have been made public yet.
